Makehouse is dedicated to serving the most talented individuals regardless of race, sexual orientation, religion, age, gender, disability status or any other dimension of diversity. In addition, Makehouse serves artists of many disciplines including, but not limited to: theatre artists, dancers and choreographers, musicians and composers, designers, visual artists, writers and film makers. Participants at all stages in their career are welcome, from students to accomplished professionals.
MAKEHOUSE SPECIAL PROJECTS

In addition to our year-long Sponsored Artist residency, we offer low-cost retreat weekends to individuals and groups. Applications are accepted on a rolling basis and will be reviewed quarterly. Projects are chosen based on availability and Makehouse's ability to accomodate the individual or group's needs.
